The terms, conditions, and how to obtain a pilot license, instructor and examiner drone defines with Government Gazette the commander of the Civil Aviation Authority Mr. Lintzerakos.

For obtaining permission operator for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), known as drones, the candidate must have reached 18 years of age, passing a theory test and the practical (includes carrying up to 4 from / landings) , have a very good knowledge of English and a health certificate in force.

The license is valid for three years and for renewal required at least ten hours of flight by drone. Otherwise, the candidate repeats the practical test. The theoretical exam includes multiple-choice questionnaire and have 75% of the answers are correct.

In case of failure of the practical test, the candidate can repeat it ten days later, provided that you take extra hours training in the field failed. If the holder drone operator involved in an accident and does not hold the health certificate in force, revoked his license. Also be withdrawn on a reasoned decision of the CAA commander.
