The Study, which is being elaborated by the partnership of with the Firms «GAIA S.A. MELETON D. MAMOUNIS & SIA», «GEOANAMYSIS S.A.», «ANDREAS TH. KARAVASILIS – GEORGIOS M. TSAKOUMIS & SIA E.E. – AKKT – CONSULTING ENGINEERS » and «TZIRINIS APOSTOLOS». The subject of the urban planning study concerns the planning of the demarcated settlements mentioned above by the decision of Prefect, as well as the areas of expansion, according to the approved Open City Spatial and Housing Organization Plan of the «Kapodistrian» Municipality of Meniida (2008) – the study does not include the study of revision of the town plan, which applies to the distributions districts of the Ministry of Agriculture, with the exception of the settlement of Litharia, in which the distribution has never been implemented. The completion of the urban planning in the settlements of Meniida will contribute to coverage of future housing needs, especially given that the population development of Meniida is growing, and the dynamic primary sector has a comparative advantage, particularly in times of economic crisis. Finally, it is noted that the Study has joined the Green Fund.
