The Study concerns the elaboration of the General Urban Plan of the Municipal Unit of Pefka of the Kallikratis Municipality of Neapoli-Sykies. The Stage A has been completed and the Board of Directors is expected to give its opinion in order to give mandate for the Stage B1 of the Study.
Most of the territory of the Kapodistrian Municipality of Pefka, according to NSSG data (2001), is occupied by a buildable area (52%), it is the homonymous settlement, because the Municipality has no other settlements. The dominant use within an approved plan of the settlement is the dwelling, while on the main road axis of the settlement there are other uses of private education (tutorials), commercial, etc. Scattered in the settlement there are green areas, but also public utilities, which however need to be strengthened. The remaining 48% of the area of the Municipality is covered by forest land. It is a municipality with a particularly rich natural environment, with the most important natural resource in the part of the Sheich Sou Forest, which extends to the south.
