In providing information on major natural gas purchase contracts agreed by EU energy ministers, as is apparent from the documents adduced by Platts.
\nSpecifically, the ministers agreed to inform Brussels about the contract details which concern more than 40% of supply in the relevant market, as it is the desire of the same of the European Commission under the new guidelines issued.
\nAs reported on the commission, the new rules are necessary because one third of the 124 transnational agreements across the EU Gas is not in conformity with Community law.
