The Environmental Impact Assessment, which was elaborated in one stage, in accordance with the new environmental legislation (2011), concerns to the flood protection projects in the Triadi city extension area.\u00a0The works are necessary in order to concentrate the waters of the basin located to the east of the Triadios extension area and upstream, in order to protect the settlement from potential future floods.<\/p>\n

In the Environmental Assessment Study an identification table and a qualitative environmental impact assessment were used for the construction and \u00aboperation\u00bb phases of the proposed Project. Finally, environmental impact measures are proposed, which are realistic in their implementation, both from a construction and an economic point of view.<\/p>\n
