STUDIES\u201d for the preparation of the study entitled <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Redevelopment of Central Streets of the Municipal Unit of Oreokastro<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scope of the contract concerns the preparation of a Special Architectural Study and an Electromechanical Study (with emphasis on street lighting), at the level of detailed design (final design stage), for a section of the primary road network with a total length of approximately 3.5 kilometers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The detailed design is developed through an integrated and interdisciplinary approach, incorporating:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">specialized architectural urban design interventions,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">studies for the configuration and upgrading of public space,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">electromechanical studies for street lighting and supporting infrastructure.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Scope and Objectives of the Study<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The core objective of the study is the urban and functional restructuring of the individual intervention areas, aiming at their spatial, functional, and aesthetic unification into a cohesive urban ensemble.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The principal axes and objectives of the study are defined as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Functional and morphological upgrading of public space<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with emphasis on highlighting the distinctive character of the area and strengthening the emerging commercial center.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Establishment of a clear urban identity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, through a coherent design vocabulary (materials, urban equipment, lighting, planting).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Reconnection of the urban fabric with the natural environment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, through the integration of natural elements into public space and the enhancement of environmental continuity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Rational organization of parking<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, aiming at decongestion and optimization of traffic operation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Creation of an attractive and sustainable urban environment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, capable of functioning as a focal point of social interaction for residents and visitors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Functional linkage between public and private space<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, reinforcing the relationship between communal open spaces and the commercial frontage of the area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ensuring universal accessibility (Persons with Disabilities \u2013 PwD)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in accordance with current regulations and the principles of universal design.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Strengthening the ecological dimension of the intervention<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, through bioclimatic strategies and improvement of the urban microclimate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, the study establishes a comprehensive framework for urban regeneration, aiming at the sustainable upgrading of public space and the redefinition of the area\u2019s centrality at functional, environmental, and symbolic
