The contract entitled “Electromechanical study, architectural study and environmental study of the school complex at 31 Syggrou Street” was signed with the Municipality of Thessaloniki on 25/09/2020, which included the elaboration of architecture, electromechanical and Hydraulic studies in the framework of both of energy and static upgrade in the historic school complex of 31 Syggrou Street.
The scope of work of the project is the preparation of all the necessary studies, in order for the whole complex (buildings and school yard) to be upgraded functionally, bioclimatically and aesthetically to cover the needs of a modern educational faculty. The complex is being studied as a whole and includes the 4rth General Lyceum, the 4rth Gymnasium, the 55th and 35th Primary School and the 39 & 40 Kindergartens.
The study of the complex has special requirements as it declared as a monument since 2008 by decision of the Ministry of Culture.
The final architectural. electromechanical and hydraulic study within the framework of the contract was delivered on time on 26/02/2021 and its approval is expected in order to implement the next stage which includes the issuance of the required building permit and the elaboration of the implementation study and the tender documents.
